I broke one of mom's microwave-safe glassware cover. It was bad. It fell on the floor and broke into a million pieces. Some pieces cut my left foot. Don't know if it's paranoia but I felt like as if some tiny bits went into my heel, too.

June 4th was a public holiday and we had our annual luncheon at Palace of the Golden Horses. A very horsey venue. Was just thinking about why that horsey place felt so familiar - then I realised it's because JS was born in the year of the Horse. *haha* Joey got the grand price from our lucky draw - a 21" TV. I got a thermopot. I just handed it over to JS so that he could use it in Uncle Jeremy's house. We already have one at home anyway.

June 11th I was in KL and Bobo (it's a pet name I give my cousin - *hehe*) called me. Ooo! Anyone wants to go to MarieFrance?
Anyway, we wanted to go for Mr&Mrs Smith. The ticket reservation was so crazy that even when I called at 11am(?) or so on Thursday (you can only book 3 days maximum in advance - I think), it was all fully booked! Whoa! JoFo was just telling me she watched StarWars on the premier day because she "tried her luck" with buying uncollected reserved tickets.
Great! The slight problem was that KK&Jessy wanted to watch the show, too. This would mean we have to take the later show (we thought of watching the 7pm show - or somewhere around that time), which means either the 9pm or 9.30pm show. We went to SS2 to
makan then we went to MidValley to buy the tickets. No luck. All sold out. Except 12am shows.
What to do? Wait till the uncollected tickets for 9pm were released
lor (which was at 8.30pm).

So we killed some time at the pet store. Either some hamsters are really silly or just really adorable. They somehow like to squeeze in between the door-hinge-thingy-place. Don't know how to describe it.
At 8.10pm, we were at the line to buy tickets again (Counter 6&7 reserved for the tickets' purchase of Madagascar and Mr&Mrs Smith). *hehe* Anson asked me to go line up at the back (between us, about perhaps 6-8 people) just in case if he "arrives" before release time, hopefully I will "arrive" at the right time. *heh!* The line moved forward pretty quick at that time - well, what do you expect when no tickets can be purchased since they are sold out!
It was pretty embarrassing to wait in line but yet not willing to move ahead in the line, get what I mean? There were also a few couples doing the same thing - letting others go ahead of them so that they could stall time yet still be in the line. After some time, everyone stopped "pretending" anyway. Everyone knew that everyone else in that line was waiting for release time so we ended up being in the line but no one going forward to the counter to ask/purchase any tickets. *haha* Nobody wants to go thru first, nobody wants to move off.
At that time, it was about 8.20pm. It felt like the LONGEST 10 minutes ever! I think I was 4th in line and the TV display flashed, "Uncollected reserved tickets : 44". YAY! So
kiasu but then again, it's not that bad when EVERYONE else is doing the same thing. We were practically forcing them to release the tickets but those two guys at the counter said they have to wait till it was 8.30pm sharp (and by that it means THEIR 8.30pm - which was later than my watch by 4 minutes. *heh!*).
After buying the tickets, we called KK just to make sure that he would turn up - if not, we thought of selling off those "hot" tickets. *hehe* Profit to pay for our popcorn. *phbbt* We didn't. They made it.
Poor dear threw up everything we ate at SS2 just before we went into the theatre. No, not in front of everybody. In the loo.

I think I slept in the longest on Sunday. Around 15-16hours. Fooooh!
---
I had enough of sticky rice dumplings. Blergh. Last Saturday was the festival.
Before that, Joey brought some homemade
bak chang for me. Hooray! I ate one at about 11.30am, then another at about 1.30pm - yeap! That's lunch. On the same day in the evening, I ate one of the
kan sui zhoong which is a bit salty. Different from how grandma made it. Apparently Joey's mom put in some flavour so it wouldn't be too bland.
So THREE
chang in one day is more than enough for me. Thank goodness I didn't suffer from any indigestion.
Yesterday, once again I ate the
bak chang Joey brought from home. *heh* Couldn't resist - my favourite parts are the salted egg yolk and fatty pork. *yum!*
Today Joey brought a
bak chang again for me! Goodness me!!! Miscommunication
lah but I told her I cannot take any more
chang.
YW came in the afternoon with two
chang for me. It came with a gula melaka sauce - so I thought both were
kan sui zhoong. At least it won't be too filling like the
bak chang.
I opened the first one.
*one bite* Eik?! Why is this salty?
*another bite* Eik?! Why got meat?
*third bite* Yay! I found the egg yolk!
Turns out she brought one of each for me - also home made. So
jeles these people got their moms to make all these goodies for them. I don't think mom knows how to. Hmmm...

Only Anson's parents would bring their grandkids out at about 11pm to BurgerKing, dressed in their jammies (the kids
lah, not the grandparents!), for a burger (and also that they could go to the "playground" there).

At one point, my account's figures actually brushed near 5 figures. Now? Hmmph. After signing off everything for the instalments, I'm left with RM126.04 - oh joy! See
lah. Happy only got money to my name but not money for my use. *hehe*

Room is STILL like a tornado-hit although I just cleaned the hall today. (also, I bathed Brinkley and cleaned his ears. Ugh!)
I don't know if I dreamt this or I really DID read this but I thought I read somewhere that the first step to making your room "tidy" is to make your bed. As long as you make your bed, the rest of your room won't look too bad.
Uhmm...I tried it. I even took pictures of before and after. I don't think it's much difference
lah.
BEFORE

AFTER

See? *sigh* The mess is always on the floor, on the carpet area. And also my desk. GAH!
*squeak*
