Looking back on the past week

Back-logging as usual.

Sunday . 30th July

Agape's Silver Anniversary!

Morning - woke up late! Had to drive separately. STILL had loose stools. *sigh*

LOTS of photos. Be warned! Mostly taken before or after the whole event.

<< This was the screen that we saw yesterday looking at us. I know quite a lot of churches in KL has it already but for us, it's a first. Much easier than flipping pages/papers!
>> A quick picture of 3 J's. Candid shot for me but the other two were well prepared!

<< Stars, doves, balloons!
>> Stars are clearer now.

Su-Quin, dazed Lav, JoFo. MinChee at the back.

Sitting and waiting for 5pm to come.

Not fairy lights but reflections of those "stars".

Helium balloons holding those stars up.

See?

Urmmm...no comments.

Some 38-40 youths got a present...to give it to faithful servants of Agape. I got Aunty Ah Bee. I didn't want to end up giving the present to the wrong recipient if I chose a present for someone I'm not too sure if I know who they were!

Clark. *hehe* Apparently Pastor Ben had this kind of hairstyle back in the old days.

The boy who got stuck in the toilet when he was a small tot. Now everybody knows - thanks to the multimedia presentation. *hehe* And Andrew telling us(?)

Apparently two light bulbs better than one. Two ideas, I mean. *hehe* Joseph was behind us trying to get a balloon for JoFo.

Hantu betul. We were trying to make it look as if the balloons were lifting us up. Fail. *hehe*

I was grinning like that because Lav said, "Look! No hands!" We tied the balloon to our trousers. *hehe*

<< This is what you need. A helium gas filled balloon and white string.
>> Now change the lighting and expression - this is what you'd get.

Uncle J was the one who started with the helium inhaling and singing thereafter. *haha* He was funny! To see a man with a deep voice singing "Mary had a little lamb.." in a squeaky voice...so funny! Then everyone else wanted to try. By the time I felt like trying and got to untie a balloon...no one was interested anymore. Most just wanted to eat then. *sulk*
Joshua said he couldn't inhale the helium...I just felt like my lungs were compressed as I inhaled more of it. If you laugh (like our dear QUEEN!), then the effect would be gone in an instant. Got some video clips. Would be collecting them and putting it into my ipod. *hehe* What a nice collection!

After makan we rushed to Jusco to watch "Lady in The Water". To me it was okay - I'm a 'fraidy cat. I don't like horror movies so this movie is okay to me! *hehe* No "The Dorm", please. Thank goodness they didn't go for that at last. I would've backed out and walked home.
Lav said boring. JoFo said Joshua almost fell asleep or was he sleeping? Hmmm...
Okay lah...go there for the bedtime story, alright? It's a good bedtime story. So detailed. Funny at some parts, too.

Bed!!! *zzZZzzzZZZzz*

Saturday . 29th July

Woik! I thought it's MONTHLY menstrual? Not WEEKLY? *sigh* Body's sick. Hormones have gone wonky.

Woke up late and headed back to Seremban. Practice in church was at 3.30pm but because I was STILL having diarrhoea (not really, just loose stools - not TOO bad), I got there about 4.10pm.
If any practice involves being backup for energetic praise songs, be prepared to SWEAT. It was like as if I went thru a kickboxing session! *hehe*

Friday . 28th July

Woke up because of a really bad headache...and a bad tummy! Diarrhoea! Oh no! This is ALWAYS the case when I purposely take time off work. Why?!

After going to the toilet for the 3rd or 4th time, went out to the office in TTDI. I felt better (headache still persistent) and we went for lunch. It was a BAD idea to have char koay teow. Walking in the drizzle didn't help much either. The headache was so bad I just felt like crying - and I did. I lay my head on the table on my arm and tried to keep as still as possible. Any movement would make the pain worse.

I look up at him with his paperwork.

"I look like shit right?"

"Yeah. Shit looks better."

He said it without looking up.

Stupid donkey.

I got an offer from JoFo to go for the warehouse sale in Hotel Armada. I've never been to a warehouse sale! *hehe* So jakun! Since no one wants to send me there and JoFo's office is in PJ (a hassle to come to TTDI to pick me), I offered to pick her up. Madness isn't it? I thought I could still handle them - the pain and diarrhoea. Nausea decided to come along and join the party, too! After a few more toilet visits, gastric-pains came uninvited!
Before leaving the office, got another message from JoFo. She asked me to go over to her place to stay since she's alone. Thank God for that plan! Seriously. If not I would've fainted somewhere in between PJ and Hartamas, I think.
When we arrived at Armada, had to wait in queue. I told JoFo I wasn't feeling too good. I felt like lying down on the floor and sleep.

So...sick sick sick, I ended up coming out with two pairs of shoes. My hero - JoFo. *hehe*
It was pure MADNESS!!! Hooligans. Not fit to be called ladies. We turned into hooligans, too! *hehe* JoFo went there with hopes of getting Renoma shoes - no such luck.

Went back to Sunway and after a few more toilet visits, we went to pick SM up. Went to CentrePoint to meet JoFo's friend who brought other friends. I tagged along to kononnya expand social circle. *hehe* This was only possible after taking two paracetamol tablets and one bottle of miraculous pou chai yuen!!! Yes. All pharmacist but take pou chai yuen. It works! So trust us. *hehe*

Thursday . 27th July

This is the day that I thought I would never live through! *hehe*

I took a "nap" and woke up at about 4.50am - I arrived at work around 6.15am? Shop not opened yet. My staff couldn't believe I was there already when they came walking in.
I went in early just in case if there's any help needed/if there's any POS problems/if there's any display problems. Basically I was given the assignment, so I wanted to be there when it starts.

Today is my 3rd interview of the week at Section16. Got there in one piece. Was so angry at self for not knowing better. I saw CPTower and just turned into "P"...and I was in Phileo. Wasted RM2!!! I thought perhaps I could walk over...then I thought perhaps not. I don't want to get lost. *hehe* Turned out and got into CPTower's parking. That also another headache. I got "lost" and got stuck at the exit. I had to drive backwards to get back into the parking lot. Cis. Not funny at all. Malufying only! Thank God there weren't any cars behind me.

I arrived for the interview about half an hour early (would've been earlier if not for the parking!) and didn't get to meet Shyuan (her office is also in CPTower). Personally, this interview is the most relaxing one I've been to. Two person and the lady isn't half as "unapproachable" as my first ever interview with another company. The guy was jokey and I took that as a green light to be "funny" as well. *hehe*

"Tell us. How do you encourage your work colleagues? How do you motivate them?"

"Well...I'm actually known as the 'entertainer' at work."

"I can see that." *grins*

Ehmm...I wonder if it's saying that he can see from the way I bring myself or he meant, "Don't try to act smart."

---

I'm still rather shy with his parents lah if he's not around...but I REALLY cannot tahan so no such thing as "shy" if "shy" keeps me from taking a nice shower and sleeping! He had to go out with his brother for dinner. Pre-arranged. I went to his house - showered and went to bed! *hehe* I fell asleep almost instantly!
I didn't need the AC (as long as there's a fan, I'm fine. Too tired to be bothered actually and I'm used to it at home) but his mom turned it on for me anyway. *hehe*

Gone were the inhibitions of being "shy"...

Wednesday . 26th July

Okay. This was another crazy day. After sending Veron off yesterday, I went home. Reached home about 11pm or so.
Today I had to work the morning shift and had to leave earlier because my 2nd interview (with this particular company and also 2nd interview for the week) is at 4pm. I tried to ask for a later meeting time but apparently I'm in to meet the director so I would have to adjust my timing instead of asking him to wait for me.
At the same time the Loreal rep told me he couldn't deliver the free mascara on time! Sales starting the next day and no free gift?! Since Loreal's office is in Uptown, I offered to go collect it from him (I had to work the next day anyway!) either before or after my interview.
I arrived in PJ just in time for my interview. Nothing too scary. I guess because including this interview, it would have been the 4th time I've sat in this same spot. The final question was, "Do you have any other interviews after this?"

I was surprised for a while. How did they know I was called for other interviews? Since I didn't have any other interviews on Wednesdays itself, I replied, "No."

"He didn't tell you that you would have an interview with HR?"

OH!!!! *hehe*

"Nope."

"Okay then."

I was walked to the door and waited for the receptionist to release it. She signalled for me to come nearer to her and wait. So I waited. I thought she wanted my sticker-tag back.

"You're done?"

"Yup."

"Are you sure? I will call HR, you just have a seat and hold on for a minute okay."

Turned out that usually when you get your 2nd interview with the business director, you will also have to go thru an interview with the HR department. Thank you, Mary! If it wasn't for her, I would have go back to the same place for the 5th time to go thru another interview. HR's interview was very brief, basically just to tell me what to expect, am I enthusiastic to join the company and how soon can I start work.

I left the office at 6.00pm and told the Loreal rep I'm going to his office. After waiting for 45 minutes in front of Uptown2 and calling him a few times, I told him that I've got to go. In the end he WAS going to Sepang after all but to LCCT instead of MTB. Cis! Buang masa.
Someone promised to have dinner with me but I ended up having dinner with that someone's parents.
Came home...packed, iron, cleaned...finally got to bed at around 2am!!!

Tuesday . 25th July

Since I swapped shift with my colleague (so I could send Veron off at night), I could afford to sleep in a bit. Laze around!

It's mom's birthday! I messaged her and sort but I didn't get any reply. I wonder if she got any of my messages? If she didn't, she'd be upset like that Mother's Day incident again. I DID message but I guess at that time the lines were just wonky because too many messages were sent around. Mom's 54 this year. I plan to get her something worthwhile next year when she turns 55. I hope I can afford it! *hehe* I've got something in mind already...

It was off to work after lazing around and guess who came to see me at about 8pm? Our Dr Serena Khoo. MAS, not AirAsia. So definitely not her own money for the ticket. *hehe* She was back for a 4-days' conference in KL. She was surprised that I was working! Well, like I said...most of the time people are around when I'm not at work. I guess if I didn't swap times to send Veron off, I wouldn't meet Serena either!
I missed the crying! Because I exceeded my time "quota" to be out of the pharmacy, I had to dash back for a bit to see a few customers waiting for me. I dispensed whatever that they were looking for, went to the loo and ran to the centre court in time to hear Veron's friends shout, "Bye bye Veron!" I saw Lav holding a tissue but I was busy running to get to the staff entrance. *hehe*
Went there just in time to walk Veron and her parents to their gate - C27. It was at the very end of the clinic's wing (where Harrods is).
Terra betul. Flight's at 10.10pm(?) and they were nicely walking thru customs at 9.30pm. *hehe*
I thought Veron had to leave for India on her own, that's why I said I'd teman her in. Mana tau parents also going with her! She told me that she didn't want to tell me - because I may not make the swap if I knew. *hehe* She knows me well enough! *hehe*
Goodbye dear Paris! You know we love you! *hehe*

Monday . 24th July

It's the beginning of a HECTIC week for me.
Monday starts me off with half-day at work. It was okay if not for staying up late the day before to get some things sorted at home. Was so sleepy driving to work and driving to KL.
Supposed to meet Hazel at her place and perhaps go to KLCC to visit the Biotherm counter with her - in the end we went to Sally's place because Hazel wanted some help on her job interview.
(The picture on the left is the Chinese tea "ball" that "blooms" when put into water)

After a nice, home-cooked meal. Hazel brought most of it. Sally made steamed pork and soup! So I'm the luckiest of all!

FC called to ask about church camp. Both working on the computer and that leaves me minding my own business. I had nothing much to do so...

CAN YOU SPOT THE FISH?

There really IS a fish in there. Like I said, a fish.

In the end, we didn't go beauty counter hopping. I took a shower and got ready for my interview. I left early and got there early. I don't know if the interviewer was playing "games" with me...because even after several calls from the receptionist (this was already past 5.20pm) to tell that her interview candidate is here, there was no sign of her. Fine. I can wait. I arrived in Central Plaza about 4.30pm and the interview was set at 5.30pm. I only got to see her at 6.00pm - okay so technically I only had to wait for half an hour...but it was a pain lah!
Didn't even feel like an interview - felt like a job briefing. To add to its "weirdness", she ended with, "So do give me a call and let me know. Or you can email me."
I left at about 7.10pm and went to PutraHeights. When I finally got there about 8-ish, Julie just got home. Headed off to TC's place and went makan at Taipan. Well, let's just say I was so out of touch with what's going on with my own cousins. I hope we'll get to see each other more often when I move to KL.
Went off to Hartamas to see a certain monkey and stayed over there. Zonked out almost instantly.

Missing and not

I'm not missing you
I'm not going through the motions
Waiting and hoping you call me
I'm not missing you
You might have had me open
But I must be going because
I got life to do
I know I'm usually hanging on
I used to hate to see you gone
But this time it's different
I don't even feel the distance
I'm not missing
I'm not missing you

Stacie Orrico's "I'm Not Missing You"

---

Singing the chorus to myself, I thought about today's date. It's 24th already...mom's birthday is tomorrow. I thought of writing down what mom means to me and the one thing that's stuck on my mind at the moment is "the one I cried for when she wasn't around because I missed her so much."
On one hand I'm talking about not missing someone and on the other am talking about the time I missed someone so much it hurts - badly.
Don't remember why mom wasn't around...and why I was upset. Why was I crying for her to come back? That I missed her so much. I only remember being at her dresser and looking at her stuff. Crying, telling God to bring her back soon. Madness. I can imagine walking to that dresser, picking up the old make-up/perfume/cream she left behind. When we were in the RJ house, I slept in mom's room...on her bed. Well, at that time it was only the two of us at home. We'd go for char koay teow or tong sui or ging zai mai fan...just the two of us.
Ah! So much tears for this person but then again, I'd rather it be me than her. I cannot explain how much it hurts and how useless you feel when you see your own mother cry.
I remember there was once I was so home sick (first time!!!) at Taylor's and I called home - crying. She was the one cheering me up, telling me home is not too far away. Funny that I didn't go through that motion of home sickness when I was in Uni. Having too much fun? *hehe*
Bah! Am teary eyed already. And sniffing.
I wish she's back here instead of there.

*bawls*

Happy Birthday MC!

*hehe* Not exactly her best shot but I haven't got any latest pictures! The last time I met her was in Penang...I brought my camera out but forgot the battery. Or was it I brought the battery and forgot the camera? Long story! I only took pictures using my other camera...yet to get the film developed!

Anyway, I guess she will be "stuck" in Penang for quite some time.

Hope you had a blast of a day, babe! Although we've not been keeping in touch but just to let you know, I'm always here! Thanks for making time for me when I pop by to Penang the last time. Many more great years and fun to come!

Mega/Merdeka Sales!

Mega headache!

I just realised my watch has been dead for almost two months now! Been so used to not wearing one but it has been bothersome to check my handphone for the time. It was good in a way - I didn't realise it's been two months! Meaning? Time flew! *hehe* Time flies especially at work. I get to work and the next thing I know, in two hours I'd be getting off work! *hehe*
My watch isn't the only one dead. The clock being longest "dead" is the one sitting in the hall. Don't know what's wrong with it - but now it sits at half past seven.
The one in the kitchen just went kaputt a few days ago, few seconds before six...I think. Because the cuckoo bird didn't get stuck half-way or something.
So yea. That's why my dad wears his watch around the house and when playing mahjong...because they couldn't tell the time! Unless the Astro decoder is turned off - then at least some decent time-showing device.
Well...thank goodness I've still got my handphone and the small broken clock that has been with me since Taylor's - which I stole from mom. Cheaper to maintain. AA battery. Only ONE AA battery.

Anyhoo...Mega Sales. Yeap. It started today? Headache for me. Pffft.

Guess who?

Well, was just in the mood to send picture messages. In the afternoon I tried to send JoFo a picture of my Biotherm toner. Failed! I think she didn't activate her GPRS service. Cheh.

So at night, a special person got this picture with the message, "Hi! Guess who? Hehe!"

I wanted to send my own picture and add a sound clip (ala Vodafone style - I saw the advert in UK last time when camera phones just became the rage) but then...nahhhh!!! That is so not me.

"Hey,i forgot to ask u la.u got my picture msg yesterday?hehe"

"ya... it was funny though"

"It's supposed to be funny!"

Tak boleh pakai.

I want to give up

Work may seem interesting at first. Calling a few suppliers. Well...calling ALL our suppliers. Try my skills at haggling. Being rather naive in the context of their "promises"...

I'm ready to just give it up already. Some even has the cheek to tell me (after calling them EVERY day or two and them promising me stuff by a certain day!), "Oh. I haven't got it done yet lah!"

This is what you call being professional? I thought you all had your diaries, organisers and what nots.

BAH!

So much easier when you have full reign and no worries about paying royalties.

---

Starting from today onwards, I need not run to the main tap (turn it on) and back to the bathroom just to take a shower/brush my teeth/flush the toilet/etc and then run back to turn it off. Apparently the "leak" has been solved! Linked to the common bathroom's wash basin tap and the tap for the pond last time. Yea. Don't know what nonsense. Basically it's back to fix-the-probable-cause-of-leak-so-we-wait-for-the-bill-next-month-to-verify. God, please help settle this problem! Too much money has been wasted in paying crazy amounts of water bills for the past...year?!!

Oh dear.

Believe me...

...when I tell you that dogs can also jeling at you.

Happy Birthday Keat!!!

...and also to our Yang Dipertuan of NS. *hehe* (But I've still got to go to work!)

Show the world this picture. Apparently I do this often to get things done my way. (no, I don't!)

Whoops! This is not about me! It's about that guy sitting beside me. *hehe*

Woik! Quarter century already! "Sang sang sing sing" okay? Don't give headache to your friends. *hehe* Blessed day ahead (although you may not get to see this message, I just hope you can FEEL my good intentions *hehe*) and enjoy your trip there! Here's to many more years of amazing friendship *ahem*, exciting life *ahem*, good health and fantastic career!

This is one of the OLDEST friends that I have and still in good terms with *hehe* and still in good contact. Since LC went to UK, when I do see him...sometimes I've to take up LC's "responsibility" in flirting with him. *HAHA* Seriously, I don't know why people say there is no such thing as good old friends between a guy and a girl. 4 more years and we would have been friends for TWENTY YEARS! Imagine that!

Well, some lucky pig gets to prance around in Prague or some other European destination. Come back soon!

I'm always a week late...

Last Thursday (July 13th) I was in PJ (again) and my phone was running out of battery. I had to turn to messaging to "conserve" as much as I can of the battery's life.

So I asked JoFo what was she doing after work and she replied that "they" are all going to Doulos ship and asked me to come along.

I was hungry. So I thought, "Is that a new restaurant? Sounds very familiar."

*hehe*

No wonder it sounded familiar, heard it during church announcements lah. Restaurant pulak. I sat in JoFo's turbo machine and we reached there not too long after the rest arrived, I think. *hehe*

Doulos! They're going to be here till August 1st only. I'd say better to go in the evening. Oh! And for the girls, if you can, don't wear heels. Flats would be good. If you went like me, unprepared (it was a last minute thing for me)...then walk up the "stairs" on tiptoe. Seriously. Much easier!

Looking thru the recipe books when you're hungry is not good! Thereafter I kept bugging everyone, "BIGFATJUICYPRAWNS! BIGFATJUICYPRAWNS!" Since we were in Klang...we went for seafood. Naturally. Too busy stuffing self to take any pictures. It was a torture to drive back to Seremban with a full stomach. *hehe* Arrived home and crashed as soon as I got into jammies.

Bye bye!

------

After church on Sunday, we wanted to go makan together-gether and then watch a movie. Sometimes it's a pain deciding in a big group. Although JoFo didn't want to have pizza, I'm grateful she came along! *hehe* She had a bout of diarrhoea after having pizza the last time - that's why she was against it.
We sat in a booth meant for 4 - we SQUEEZED 6 people into it.

Our sermon in the morning touched on serving others - who better than the pastor's daughter to show us the way? *hehe* That's David's arm. He's leaving next week so this was like our last makan together with him.

JoFo, FeR, Lav. I don't remember what were my hands doing. *hehe*

We went to TGV to check out tickets for Pirates of the Caribbean. By the time we had decided how many TICKETS to actually buy - 8.45pm was already in red. Cis! When GSC was suggested, no one was keen! Wah! Suddenly so "high class" is it? *hehe* I prefer GSC's popcorn anyway. Lav tried to call GSC and she said couldn't hear what the "lady" was saying so I tried booking some tickets. Booked 6 tickets and told Lav that I got it. 6 tickets. Just gotta figure who's going and who's not.

Lav asked, "Sure you got it? Terminal One ya?"

I was quite sure I booked tickets for the right cinema...so in the end I called in and booked another 6 tickets. *hehe* So much for confidence. Better extra than sorry. In the end only 5 of us went for the movie - Lav, Andrew, KinSang, KinFei and I. KinFei had to fly right after the movie because he had to go back to KL. The rest of us went to Temiang Corner.

Supposedly for "drinks" but I can never really go to a mamak and just have a drink. Everyone ended up having something! Roti Bakar, Roti Telur+Bawang, Roti Pisang, Roti Plant - good spread of Roti's. *haha* It was gooooooooooood! Good to be with peers...uhmm...sort of.
Since we couldn't get David to come out, we dragged Andrew lor. *hehe*

Welcome back and welcome to the working world, Andrew!

Andrew said I posted picture without permission. So this will have to do. If I dare say so myself, I think it does look a bit like him. *hehe*

Guess what I had for dinner?

It's easy if you know my strength and weakness in cooking. *haha*

Morning call

This is the 4th time someone called me to ask if I was at work because they were at the airport...and I'm at home. *haha* Everytime the timing all haywire! For Veron and David's departure, may arrange work time to send them off.

I usually don't wake up in the (early) morning when I'm scheduled to work the evening shift. Ju-cher called me at 8.30am because she was at the airport. Since I said I was at home, the phone call ended in less than a minute or so. Psst! My actual "morning call" was from Aunty Jo! *hehe* I forgot to reply her message yesterday (busy stuffing face with kebab) and was rushing for movie.

After that I've been lazing doing housework slooooowly. I work at 3pm today. I wonder if kai-fan outing still on. Am lazy to get out of house.

Back to (house)work!

This is my 300th post!

Well, before I clicked on "Create new post" I just happened to see "Posts = 299" - not that I purposely check on it!

Anyway, I think it was last week when I saw a durian sitting in the kitchen. ONE durian. When I came back, durian skin already in the thrash. So sad. I love durians. It's been some time since I've had "fresh" durians. The problem is not in opening the durian but it's in the picking of a good durian.

Well...today I came back from work and in the air was (not doggy smell!) the scent of GOOD durians. The "bitter" kind. I dashed into the kitchen and again...pile of durian skin in the trash.

*sigh*

When dad came back, he asked, "Do you want to eat durian?"

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

So I had one durian all by myself. Dad said he's had enough. And it's indeed the "bitter" type. SUPER! Yummy!

Just yesterday I had petai and then durian today. Whoa! Watch out, potty!

Talking about food, Nicholas actually bought KFC for all of us at work. He said he got to achieve his sales target last month - so generous!
Then LAST Tuesday I also got free KFC - from the KFC staff herself. She was walking by the shop a few times so I called her. Talk talk talk then suddenly, "Ah! You nak ambik ah!" She was holding a bag with Set 3 in it. Free makan!
Saturday Leng brought bak kut teh for me! Yummmmmmmm!!!

So...what 3kg loss? Pfft. I'd be happy if there isn't any 3kg GAINED from pre-loss weight. *hehe* Free food is hard to resist. For me, at least.

Lovely toe

Someone's LOVELY toe sticking out of her sock because it's got a hole in it! LOVELY toe finds it so amusing that she was giggling and laughing together with us.

Went bowling today.
I was late because dad wanted me to help him stir the agar-agar mixture.

"Should we add coffee? Milo?"

*FeR's eyes buldges out*

"Vanilla essence? Sugar? More sugar? I put in coconut milk already."

*pening*

In the end, the concoction was agar-agar+coconut milk+coffee powder+vanilla essence. There's still a tray in the fridge. I daren't try.

Anyway, I had to tell dad twice, "I'm going out." I mean...I was in jeans. I don't wear jeans if I was going to sit at home. I felt bad because we hardly spend time together or do anything together - it was like a "bonding" time? I just had to dash.

I rushed out and texted Anne to tell her I'm running late. Picked her up and by the time we arrived at the bowling alley in SerembanParade, David, Lav, Veron and Jane were already there - bowling! Anne was tired and apparently came out to laugh at us!

*hehe*

Selwyn came later on and he was also keen on just laughing at us play. *heh!*

Later on we left for A&W.
We could've just walked over! It was just opposite SerembanParade but because of the wonderful one way streets that were implemented in our wonderful town, we had to drive around the building just to get to A&W's entrance.
I wanted a waffle. Yet I was afraid of getting sick of it if I had one whole waffle by myself (tried it before and yea, got sick of it! Eurwgh!) - didn't want a nice waffle longing turning into torture. I wanted to "balance" it out by having something salty. Ended up sharing a waffle with Lav and a set meal. Wyn kept saying he's on a diet. Hmmmph!

Like I told Aunty Jo...I love Sundays like these!

Happy Birthday Sayang!!!

LY & LC (LCLY!!! *haha*)

This picture. Because we looked young. We WERE young. And slimmer. Slim.

Hope you had a great day, sayang! Here's to many more years of friendship and am looking forward for you to come back! We're supposed to kill each other by staying together! *hehe*

Great friend. Enemy (!!!). Sayang. Wake-up call. Sanity. Confidante. Best of all. *hehe* It's been 13 years and counting!

Nails and such

I don't have means to edit my pictures. So everything is very...harsh. Anyway, someone asked me if I put on extensions/fake nails. Some asked before why I cut my nails that way (straight, blunt). I don't know, I don't remember. The guy from Loreal commented, "Nice colour."

Unfortunately my answer was, "Yea. Sally Hansen. They're the best."

*haha*

He was trying to promote his products.

Yesterday I went to Menara Merais again. Second time. Also on a Friday. I wonder if I would be called again next Friday. *hehe* That would be three Fridays in a row and I should just work there lah!
I was late and knowing the traffic condition at that time...whoa! I just prayed for a miracle. Throughout the journey from the tol booth till Federal...I was chanting, "Miracle! Miracle! Miracle!"

True enough, I got a miracle. I arrived in PJ at a shorter time than last week when I purposely left work early. *heh!*

After that I went to TTDI to view the new office. Looks like an apartment! He seems pretty excited!

Later at night we walked to Petronas to buy ice-cream (for me!) and bought "Burger Ayam Special" from the burger stall. Cut cost, it seems. *hehe* It was good...although I was actually craving for BK (which could buy us 3 "specials").

Had a good bonding time - just plain talk.

*sigh*

Jusco needs to buck up

Last time it was Ruffles. I don't blame them...maybe because it's not exactly cheap, nor is it as fast moving as the other snacks (I guess?).

Then the "cannot believe it!" was when I wanted to get the Nescafe Regular 3-in-1 (the red packet) - they don't have ANY on their shelves!!!

On Monday I went there to pick up some things. I thought perhaps I'd make myself some carbonara. There was NO whipping cream. Not even one single measly small carton of it. NONE!!!

Everytime I need something, it has to do this to me. So much for "ada standard" place. I go to FamilyStore and I can get whipping cream there. Cis!!!

Well...I wouldn't be so irritated if not because they were messing with me+carbonara. *hehe*

I think mom told me something about her going off to Lake Tahoe during the first week of July. Silly me forgot. 4th of July. Long weekend. No wonder I didn't get any reply from her. I gave her a long list of things I was looking out for and pouring my heart out to her about my job, etc. I thought she didn't care. *hehe*

Happy Birthday Li May!

This was from two years ago on her birthday! Am glad to see she's still using the wallet we gave her. If you ever go through my other links, I think the same picture is there.

(At one time some of the things I wrote went missing. Lazy to re-do. I didn't do any back-ups. So birthday outings were only till 23rd birthdays)

The cake says, "Happy Birthday Bimbo 2." *haha* Don't think she'd be too happy about it! This year we celebrated her birthday at Rahsia, Jalan Damai. Ehmm...no cake. Whoops. Forgot to get a cake. When you have no cake, it just felt like we just went out for a normal dinner meet-up. Except the fact that someone went home with a Tous pendant. *hehe*

More later. Work calls.

Have a blessed day and may God grant all your heart's desires!

Edit : 1.23am

Birthday girl and I. There's a glint in my eye. Literally. I looked so sinister. Birthday girl looks so demure. *haha!*

HP & SM. SM permed her hair - cost a bomb! *phew!*

This picture confirms that my weighing scale is broken. *hehe*

The food's so-so. No comments. *hehe*
We wanted to go to Ceylon Hill. The one on Jalan Damai tutup kedai already or what? I check the website, they still have the address and location map of the KL outlet. I guess they now operate only at The Curve? Should've known something's wrong when I tried to call for reservation and I got, "Nombor yang anda dail, tidak ada dalam perkhidmatan."

LM said if Ceylon Hill not operating, we hop to Rahsia, which was next to it. So since we were all there, we just stayed on.

I thought it was some personal restaurant survey or something when our waiter asked, "How did you come about this place?"

"Oh, a friend recommended it. In fact, we're waiting for her to arrive."

Waiter walks off. Came back with some business cards.

"You're very lucky that we have a table open. The next time you may want to call up to confirm your seating."

Well! Okay lah...it was a Friday night after all.

You know what? That may just be the first and last time I'd go there.

After that we went back to Menara Merais - to get JoFo's car. So 5 people, 4 cars. Not exactly helping traffic right? Wanted to go mamak-ing at SS2. Bad idea because when we arrived PJ, it was near footie kick off time. In the end we settled in WongKokCharChanTheng. I was so bummed that day that I didn't bother about how I sat. Not a lot of people anyway - so I slouched on the chair. *hehe* It wasn't LM's birth-day exactly so she didn't get the great big glass of iced tea. We didn't order up to RM60 anyway - we were supposed to be there just for drinks.

I ordered the French Toast. Was taking in my second bite when someone (tired lah! Can't remember!) asked me - "Eh! I thought you said you very full?!"

"Oh. Yea hor."

*continues eating anyway*

Wanted to stay over at JoFo's place then push of the next day - go home then go to work. I miss my bed and I'm not prepared to stay the night. And I would need to push off early to go back home, get dressed and go to work again. I didn't want to bug JoFo (who doesn't work on Saturdays) to wake up early morn just to let me out of her apartment. *hehe* I left at 12.00am? Around there, I guess...I arrived home 12.45am.

Li May : U crazy woman! 45 min 2 reach home! Got hahaha. Dun worry. Yah was just saying tat we can meet more now tat u will come kl.
Wei nobody drives like u.

Come on lah! I only drive a Kelisa. I'm sure a lot of people can make it to Seremban in less time than me.
